Pompano Beach Amphitheatre Customers Reviews
Great venue, typically great show
Calgary was my 17 and 18th Styx shows in 2022. One of the hallmarks of Styx is consistency - every show is wonderful, regardless of venue, day or date. As a veteran of Styx shows, I've been around the country in 2022 and now, in Canada to see my favorite band.
The shows were a nice change from the summer tour and Styx added Suite Madam Blue and Criminal Mind to the typical playlist that mixes some from the latest album: Crash of the Crown to the classic hits: Rockin the Paradise, Grand Illusion, Lady, Come Sail Away, Renegade and Mr Roboto.
The Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary is a wonderful venue with typically pleasant and helpful staff.
Parking was readily available and inexpensive compared to many American cities. One can also take the train and walk from the nearby stop.
Styx is wonderful experience for a first show or for those of us that have been fans for 40 years.
I urge anyone that enjoys Styx or Styx music to catch a show.
Nancy Wilson's Heart opened both shows in Calgary and played some cover songs: Band on the Run, Rock and Roll (led Zepplin) along with Heart classics: Alone, Crazy, Barracuda.
A wonderful time in Calgary.
